YOUTH PROGRAMS

The internet has dramatically changed how our youth process their daily lives. Social media has compounded an already hefty load that leave our youth struggling to find confidence, self-worth, and

motivation. Here at HFP our Five-Part Wellness Program is tailored to create a substantial

difference in the lives of youth from all walks of life. We help to develop a healthily self-image

rooted in self-love, self-motivation, and mindfulness. Our Youth Programs challenge our youth

to expect greatness of self and to never stop growing.

YOGA

  • challenges that the adolescent population faces on a daily basis.​

STRESS MANAGEMENT

  • Competition (performance stressors)

  • Bullying

  • Living up to the expectations of others

  • Discussion/Presentation on he different career paths within the wellness industry.

CAREER DEVELOPMENT

  • Naturopathic Doctors/ Homeopathic Doctors

  • Yoga Instructors

  • Dietitians 

  • Certified Personal Trainer

  • Theologian

Note: Students will learn how to meditate, which will be put into

practice at the closing of each session. Mediation:

  • Decreases the levels of the stress hormone cortisol

  • Objectively analyze ones self

  • Improvement of the working memory

  • Increased signaling connections in the brain

  • Better control over processing pain, and emotions

  • Focused engagement in music

  • Benefits the brains emotional processing

  • Makes us more compassionate

  • Lessens the nasty affects of colds

  • Practicing mindfulness through school programs lowers depression risks among teens

  • Strategy for weight loss

  • Deeper sleep
